A recent article in the Journal-News highlighted the incredible friendship between Sean Casey and Kim Nuxhall, a relationship built on a shared belief that individuals with disabilities deserve the same unforgettable experiences as any Major League Baseball player.

What started as a connection through the Nuxhall Foundation has grown into a partnership that has impacted countless families through the annual Miracle Series. Sean Casey and Kim Nuxhall have spent years working together to create opportunities that go far beyond baseball. Their vision has always been simple: provide athletes and families with disabilities experiences they may never have imagined possible.

The article shares the story of how their friendship developed, how both organizations have grown, and why the Miracle Series has become such a special tradition for families in both Pittsburgh and Cincinnati. It is a powerful reminder that when people come together around a common mission, extraordinary things can happen.

This year, Casey's Clubhouse will travel to Cincinnati July 9-12 for the Miracle Series. This will be the largest tournament in Casey's Clubhouse history as we welcome other athletes with disabilities from NY, NJ, MA, and IA to play alongside our athletes from PA and OH. While baseball remains at the heart of the weekend, our athletes and families will enjoy so much more than games on the field. The trip includes a dance party, fireworks, a cruise on the Ohio River, an aquatics center takeover, and a trip to see the Chicago Cubs take on the Cincinnati Reds. These are the moments that create lifelong memories, strengthen friendships, and remind us that Casey's Clubhouse is truly #MoreThanBaseball.
