The Next Inning | Casey's Clubhouse

What It Is:

The Next Inning Program is Casey’s Clubhouse’s on-the-job training initiative that empowers athletes and volunteers to step up to the plate in a whole new way. Designed to build confidence, responsibility, and independence, the program gives participants the chance to develop meaningful workplace and life skills through real, hands-on experience.

Each season, team members train in roles such as concessions, announcing, field operations, and more—learning directly from staff and job coaches who guide them every step of the way. Through teamwork, mentorship, and meaningful inclusion, participants master valuable skills that prepare them for future employment opportunities beyond the field.

Every shift in the Next Inning Program is a chance to grow, connect, and turn passion into purpose—proving once again that at Casey’s Clubhouse, it’s always about more than baseball.

Requirements to Apply:

Must be an active athlete at Casey’s Clubhouse.
Must be at least 16 years old.
Available to work on weeknights, Saturdays, or Sundays.
Bring a great attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn!

What You’ll Gain:

Competitive pay (paid in one lump sum at the end of the season).
Hands-on training in customer service, money handling, custodial tasks, and more.
Development of valuable social and communication skills.
Interview and resume writing workshops with our Job Coaches.

Employment Details:

You’ll be an independent contractor, meaning taxes will not be withheld from your paycheck.
Employees are paid once at the end of each season for the total hours worked.
Job offers will be provided before the start of the season, including your position and schedule.

Flexible Scheduling:

Your schedule will be created based on the availability provided in your application.
Employees may choose to extend their employment into the fall season.
