When most people hear the name David Alan, they think of custom suits, luxury fashion, and some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment.
After all, David Alan has become the clothier of choice for stars like Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, John Cena, Pat McAfee, Paul Skenes, Sean Casey, and countless professional athletes, entertainers, and business leaders. His work has appeared on some of the biggest stages in the world, from television broadcasts and red carpets to championship celebrations and sold-out arenas.
But for those who know David personally, his greatest accomplishment may have nothing to do with fashion at all.
It has everything to do with people.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, David has built his business around a simple philosophy: when people look good, they feel good. When they feel good, they gain confidence. And when they gain confidence, they can make a positive impact on the people around them.
That philosophy has helped him grow David Alan Clothing into a nationally recognized brand while never losing sight of the city that helped shape him.
For nearly a decade, David has combined fashion with philanthropy through the annual David Alan Fashion Show. What began as a creative event showcasing custom clothing has evolved into one of Pittsburgh's most anticipated nights of the year, bringing together celebrities, athletes, musicians, business leaders, and community supporters for a cause much bigger than the runway.
This year, that cause is Casey's Clubhouse.
The connection between David Alan and Sean Casey goes back years. Both Pittsburgh natives have built successful careers while maintaining a commitment to giving back to the communities that helped them succeed. Their friendship is rooted in shared values: treating people the right way, creating opportunities for others, and using their platforms to make a difference.

Sean has spent the last fifteen years building Casey's Clubhouse into a community that serves more than 1,100 participants through adaptive sports, employment training, fitness programs, travel experiences, and year-round opportunities for individuals with disabilities. David has spent those same years building a business that celebrates confidence, individuality, and personal growth.
Now those two worlds are coming together.
On September 19, PPG Place will be transformed into a one-night-only experience unlike anything else in Pittsburgh. Guests will enjoy an exclusive cocktail hour, celebrity appearances, live entertainment, networking opportunities, charitable fundraising activities, and of course the signature David Alan runway show that has become known throughout the region.
While the lights, music, and celebrity appearances will capture attention, the real story is what happens after the final walk down the runway.
Funds raised throughout the evening will help Casey's Clubhouse continue providing opportunities for children and adults with disabilities across Western Pennsylvania. Every dollar raised supports programs that build confidence, foster friendships, teach life skills, create jobs, and provide experiences that many families never thought possible.
The event has already attracted tremendous support from local businesses and sponsors who recognize the opportunity to be part of something special. Their generosity will help ensure that the impact of the evening extends far beyond September 19.
For David Alan, this event has never simply been about fashion.
It's about bringing people together. It's about using influence for good. It's about creating an unforgettable experience while making a lasting difference in the lives of others.
And this year, that difference will be felt by the families of Casey's Clubhouse.
So whether you know David Alan as the man who dresses some of the biggest stars in the world, or simply as a proud Pittsburgher who believes in giving back, one thing is certain:
"We're incredibly grateful to be part of the David Alan Fashion Show and to celebrate its

10th anniversary. David and Sean have built a special friendship over the years, and that's what makes this event so meaningful for Casey's Clubhouse. I still laugh thinking about the first time I met David back in 2017 at Sean's house. Within an hour of meeting him, he had me measured for a suit, and the next year I was wearing a custom David Alan suit for my wedding...wedding date inside the jacket pocket and my initials on the cuff! We're honored to be a small part of this incredible event and to celebrate a decade of the relationships and community he's created."
On September 19, the most important thing walking the runway won't be the suits.
It will be the impact, and you just might see a few Casey's Clubhousers struting their stuff too!
