WHO WE ARE

During Sean Casey's 12-year career in Major League Baseball he was known as "The Mayor" for his friendly, talkative personality. While manning first base for the Cincinnati Reds, Pittsburgh Pirates, Detroit Tigers and Boston Red Sox, Sean was voted "baseball's friendliest" player frequently chatting up teammates, the opposition, and well, everyone.

After hanging up his cleats, "The Mayor" started a new campaign: Raise funds to build and run a baseball field for children and adults with special needs. Since 2013, thousands of athletes have made the park in Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania their own personal field of dreams.

"As a professional athlete, I experienced firsthand the power of baseball to bring people together and create lifelong bonds. After retiring, I wanted to give back to my hometown by creating a space where individuals with disabilities could experience that same joy and connection. Casey's Clubhouse was born from a desire to build an inclusive community where everyone has the chance to play, grow, and feel like a part of something bigger."

OUR TRIPLE PLAY

For more than a decade, we've been using the game of baseball to bring our community together to play baseball in a safe, supportive environment.

We are so much more than just a field to play on.

We've become a place where we can connect and grow. We're now a destination where job training and skill development happen, friendships are born, and we will always remain a place where dreams can and do come true.

Now, we're ready for our call up.

Casey's Clubhouse is taking its mission to improve lives through the game of baseball to the world. And while we're calling it our triple play, you can trust no one will be left out.

Casey’s Clubhouse of the South Hills is rooted in baseball but offers much more, creating a welcoming space where individuals with disabilities can connect and grow. Through our programs, we provide inclusive opportunities that extend beyond the field, fostering relationships and building a stronger, more supportive community. Serving over 60 zip codes in Western PA, Casey’s Clubhouse strengthens connections between families, volunteers, and local organizations, offering a range of activities that encourage belonging and participation in the broader hometown environment.
