MVP

Most Valuable Partner

What is an MVP? An MVP is a volunteer paired with a player for each game to:

  • Ensure the player’s safety.

  • Assist with gameplay, if needed.

  • Foster friendship and encouragement on and off the field.

2026 Spring Season

Registration : March 1 - March 31

Season Dates : April 18 - May 23​

2026 Fall Season

Registration : July 1 - August 1

Season Dates : August 29 - Oct 11

Before you register: ​

  • Check the Game Schedule: Review to find a team whose schedule aligns best with yours.

  • Although we encourage MVPs to attend every game, MVPs should plan to attend 5-6 games in a season, just as if they were a player on the team. Our athletes are counting on you!

Registration

Team Selection: MVPs register for a specific Casey’s Clubhouse team and follow that team’s schedule throughout the 6-week season.

 

Specific Player Requests: To assist a specific player, verify their team before registering. Spots fill quickly, so register early!

eligibility

  • Anyone age 12 and older

  • Middle school and high school students

  • Family members

  • Retirees

  • Community members

  • Families can sign up together

commitment

Time Commitment: 1 hour per week for 6 weeks.

 

Season Commitment:

MVPs are expected to commit to 5 of the 6 games. Players rely on MVPs as teammates!

responsibilities

Player Safety: Stay with your assigned player from introduction until they return to their parent/guardian.

Assistance: Help players with batting, running bases, and staying safe on the field.

​

Encouragement: Be a source of positivity and build trust with your player.

Service hours

MVPs can earn community service hours by tracking their own time.

​

Verification: Requests for confirmation must be sent directly to lisa@caseysclubhouse.org. Hours are verified through the MVP Check-In Binder.

Service hours are not automattically generated. It is the responsibility of the MVP to request  their hours immediately following the end of the season.

Updates: Stay connected via the SportsYou app for updates and reminders. A coach or staff member will provide the link after registration.

 

Schedules: Team game schedules are available under the "Play" tab on the website.
