MVPs (most valuable partners)

​Being an MVP at Casey's Clubhouse means creating meaningful connections and providing unwavering support to athletes of all abilities, ensuring every player feels valued and included. Your dedication helps foster teamwork, build confidence, and make the game of baseball a truly unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

Minimum Age Requirement for MVPs
  • Must be at least 12 years old by the start of the season.
Commitment
  • 1-hour commitment each week for the 6-week season.
  • For the best experience in the MVP Program, we ask that only those who can fully commit to being present register. The players count on you just like any other teammate.
Requirements
  • Clearances are required for anyone 18 years or older.
  • Download and review the MVP Code of Conduct.
Community Service Hours
  • Community service hours are available. MVPs must personally request confirmation of these hours. We do not provide confirmation to parents, guardians, or others.

Job Coach at The Next Inning

Our Next Inning Job Training Program provides a unique opportunity for Casey's Clubhouse athletes to learn and grow, and YOU can help them reach their full potential both on and off the field.
  • Flexible Scheduling: Submit your availability for the season, and a personalized schedule will be created for you.
  • Customizable Time Commitment: Work based on your preferences.
  • Role of Job Coaches: Job Coaches are a vital part of the Next Inning Job Training Program. They work one-on-one with team members in the concession stand, assisting with customer service, social skills, money handling, food preparation, custodial work, and more.
  • Clearances: Required for anyone 18 years or older.
  • Community Service Hours: Available upon request.​​

Announcers & Scorekeepers

​Announcers and scorekeepers play a vital role in creating an exciting and professional atmosphere at Casey's Clubhouse games, celebrating each athlete’s achievements and keeping the action engaging for players and fans. Their enthusiasm and attention to detail ensure a seamless and memorable experience that brings the community together.

Game Announcers (1-2 hours/week)
Love cheering on your favorite team? We need you! Announcers bring the games to life for players and families by calling out players’ names and commentating live action over the intercom. Flexible scheduling lets you sign up for games that fit your availability. By the end of the season, you’ll know the players and look forward to this fun and rewarding role.
  • Age Requirement: 16+ years old (18+ require clearances).
Scorekeepers (1-2 hours/week)
Help track the action by adding runs to the scoreboard and assisting announcers with lineups while cheering on our amazing athletes. Flexible scheduling allows you to choose games based on your availability.
  • Age Requirement: 10+ years old (18+ require clearances).

Group Volunteers

Volunteering as a group at Casey's Clubhouse fosters teamwork, strengthens bonds, and inspires a deeper connection to the community. It's a hands-on opportunity to make a meaningful impact while creating memories that go beyond the classroom, practice field, or boardroom.
Requirements for Group Volunteering:
  1. All group members must be at least 12 years old.
  2. Groups must have a minimum of 5 volunteers and a maximum of 15 volunteers.
  3. If your group exceeds 15 people, consider signing up for two time slots and splitting the group, or contact us about special event opportunities for larger groups.

Coaching Opportunities

​Coaching at Casey's Clubhouse is all about creating a positive, fun, and inclusive environment where players of all abilities can thrive. With just a compassionate heart and an enthusiastic spirit, you’ll make a lasting impact while enjoying one of the most rewarding coaching experiences imaginable.

Coach Guidelines
  • Time Commitment: 1-2 hours per week during the season.
  • Primary Responsibilities:
    • Ensure a safe and supportive playing environment for all participants.
    • Manage all aspects of the team, including communication with parents, players, and MVPs (formerly buddies).
    • Attend every game during the season.*
    • Assign MVPs to players or game-day roles (Casey's Clubhouse Division only).
    • Oversee everything that happens on the field during games.
    • Coordinate team activities with coaching staff and stay in contact with players and families.
    • Distribute uniforms to each player.
    • Provide the announcer with the team lineup before each game.
    • Encourage skill-building and create opportunities for players to learn and grow.
    • Maintain team spirit and positivity!
  • Requirements:
    • Pass a criminal background check and child abuse clearance.
    • Communicate any concerns about players to League officials.
*Attendance is crucial for team consistency and success.

College Student Internship Opportunities

​Casey's Clubhouse is a small non-profit, giving interns the chance to take on a variety of roles during their internship. You'll gain hands-on experience by assisting with event and fundraiser planning, supporting the daily operations of our league and Next Inning program, creating engaging content for social media, and working directly with our athletes to make a meaningful impact!
