MVPs (Most valuable Partners) Registration

Before you register: ​
  • Check the Game Schedule: Review the game schedule to find a team whose schedule aligns best with yours.
  • Plan for Full Attendance: MVPs should plan to attend all games, just as if they were a player on the team. Our athletes are counting on you! 😊
Registration Opens March 1 - March 31

The MVP System

​Registration
  • Team Selection: MVPs register for a specific Casey’s Clubhouse team and follow that team’s schedule throughout the 6-week season.
  • Specific Player Requests: To assist a specific player, verify their team before registering. Spots fill quickly, so register early!
Eligibility
  • Minimum Age: 12 years old (must turn 12 by the start of the season).
  • Maximum Age: None! Adults are welcome and encouraged to join.
Commitment
  • Time Commitment: 1 hour per week for 6 weeks.
  • Season Commitment: MVPs are expected to commit to all 6 weeks. Players rely on MVPs as teammates!
Responsibilities
  • Player Safety: Stay with your assigned player from introduction until they return to their parent/guardian.
  • Assistance: Help players with batting, running bases, and staying safe on the field.
  • Encouragement: Be a source of positivity and build trust with your player.
Requirements
  • MVP Code of Conduct: Review the guidelines (no submission required).
  • Energy and Enthusiasm: Bring commitment and consistency to every game.
  • Scheduling: Game schedules are provided at registration to help MVPs align with their availability.
Community Service Hours
  • MVPs can earn community service hours by tracking their own time.
  • Verification: Requests for confirmation must be sent directly to [email protected]. Hours are verified through the MVP Check-In Binder.
  • Responsibility: Confirmation is only provided to MVPs, not parents or guardians.
Communication
  • Updates: Stay connected via the SportsYou app for updates and reminders. A coach or staff member will provide the link after registration.
  • Schedules: Team game schedules are available under the "Play" tab on the website.
Limited Spots
  • MVP spots are limited per team—register early to secure your place!
  • If unable to commit to the full season, explore other volunteer opportunities on our website.
What is an MVP? An MVP is a volunteer paired with a player for each game to:
  • Ensure the player’s safety.
  • Assist with gameplay, if needed.
  • Foster friendship and encouragement on and off the field.
