Our Next Inning Job Training Program offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity for our athletes to learn, grow, and achieve their full potential—both on and off the field. And YOU can be a part of their journey!

Job Coaches play a vital role in the success of the Next Inning Job Training Program. They work closely with team members in the concession stand, providing hands-on support with customer service, social interactions, money management, food preparation, custodial tasks, and more.

Building Opportunities for Success
In 2021, we completed a major construction project at Casey’s Clubhouse, featuring:
  • Stadium seating
  • An announcer’s booth
  • A concession stand behind home plate
The vision behind the Next Inning project is to provide a dedicated space for a Job Training Center. This safe, supportive, and educational environment empowers our athletes to learn real-life skills as they prepare for life after high school.
Making an Impact
Since 2022, 60+ athletes have been hired to work at the concession stand!

Thanks to the skills and confidence they gained through the Next Inning Job Training Program, multiple athletes have gone on to secure jobs outside of Casey’s Clubhouse.

​Job Coaches are the heart of the Next Inning Job Training Program, guiding our athletes as they develop workplace skills.
What Job Coaches Do:
  • Teach money handling, customer service, food preparation, and custodial tasks
  • Help athletes improve social skills and workplace confidence
  • Use a "hands-off" teaching method to empower athletes to complete tasks independently
Requirements for Job Coaches
  • Flexible Scheduling: Provide your availability for each season, and we’ll create a schedule that works for you.
  • Key Qualities: Patience, encouragement, adaptability, and a strong commitment to the success of our athletes.
