"As a professional athlete, I experienced firsthand the power of baseball to bring people together and create lifelong bonds. After retiring, I wanted to give back to my hometown by creating a space where individuals of all abilities could experience that same joy and connection. Casey's Clubhouse was born from a desire to build an inclusive community where everyone has the chance to play, grow, and feel like a part of something bigger."
– Sean Casey, 3x MLB All-Star and Emmy-winning MLB Network analyst.
Casey’s Clubhouse of the South Hills is rooted in baseball but offers much more, creating a welcoming space where individuals with disabilities can connect and grow. Through our programs, we provide inclusive opportunities that extend beyond the field, fostering relationships and building a stronger, more supportive community. Serving over 60 zip codes in Western PA, Casey’s Clubhouse strengthens connections between families, volunteers, and local organizations, offering a range of activities that encourage belonging and participation in the broader hometown environment.
Casey’s Clubhouse International will expand the mission of fostering inclusion and belonging, rooted in baseball, to communities across the country and around the world. By sharing the success of our Pittsburgh-based programs, we aim to create welcoming environments where individuals with disabilities can come together, not just to play baseball, but to experience a range of inclusive opportunities that promote connection and growth. As we bring our model to new regions, we will work with local families, volunteers, and organizations to build supportive networks, offering the same transformative experiences we’ve seen in Western PA.
Casey’s Clubhouse Community is dedicated to supporting like-minded charities throughout the Pittsburgh region, creating a network of collaboration that strengthens opportunities for individuals with disabilities. By partnering with organizations that share our values, we aim to extend our impact beyond the baseball field, offering resources, shared programs, and mutual support. Through these partnerships, we can provide diverse opportunities for growth, inclusion, and community engagement, ensuring that together, we make a greater difference in the lives of those we serve across the region.
